A great place to give climbing a go for the first time, Chimera is located in Tunbridge Wells and offers indoor bouldering sessions to all ages from five upwards. With crash pads and no ropes, this is the easiest and most accessible way to get into the sport.

When you’ve got to grips with bouldering indoors, Chimera offer outdoor lessons and classes so you can try your hand at the real thing on the local Sandstone outcrops.

Chimera is an ethical, green company who are committed to preserving the local sandstone rocks situated around Tunbridge Wells. They donate a proportion of takings to the Steve Durkin Sandstone Trust, which looks after the Southern Sandstone.

Under 12’s can climb until 6pm in the week and 2pm at weekends
